While the Hunter Monster Hunter and Capcom series has always had its fans, Monster Hunter 2020: World sent it to the course. Now, Monster Hunter Wilds is the next match in the exclusivity of fighting CAPcom’s long action, bringing about improvements in the last generation’s console in the great fighting of creatures.
As the players get their hands in the new game when they leave in February.28 February, they will find Monster Hunter Wilds faithfully by maintaining the essential withdrawal of the series: weapons, hunt large monsters, reap their parts, and falsify them into weapons and new forces. But while the game looks like an extension of Monster Hunter: World, it has a host of life -quality updates that facilitate experience.
Some of these changes are visible after you start playing, as a smooth camp transition to regions filled with creatures around it. Seikret mounts you around the ferry (even automatically by pointing to your hunt if you wish), keep supplies and hold a second weapon you can change in the middle of the war. And the wound system has expanded heavily, making the fighting more interactive.
There is much more to discover in the full game, but here are some initial tips to help you in your first hours of Monster Hunter Wilds.
Put the time in the training range to find your favorite weapon
For new players and return, the most important decision to make is the choice of which weapons to use. New for Monster Hunter Wilds is a short questionnaire since the gate that offers suggestions for which of the 14 games of the game will best suit your favorite playstyle. But nothing replaces the practical experience, so jump into the training range, where you can try every weapon and run through different combinations and unique mechanics.
If you are young in the series, it is worth playing with the majority (if not all) of them to understand what you do and does not do each weapon. If you are a series veteran, it is useful to know what is different from previous games. You can also find some tips for each weapon on the start menu: go to Tab TAB> PLAY GUIDE> Tutorial List For some indicators in each weapon. You can also find a complete list of movement and some combinations suggested in TAB TAB> PLAY GUIDE> WEAPON CONTROLSwhich is useful to have when away from the training range.

Always eat before a hunt
As in the previous Hunter Monster games, cooking and eating a meal offers different statistical rewards depending on the dish. While you will not have much option in the early game, even the most basic meal provides bonus health that makes a difference, especially in the early game. Food does not expire at the end of a hunt, instead lasts a certain period of time, so check to make sure your meal effect is still active after successive hunting.
Once the support team has arrived in the camp in the first area, check with them occasionally to get free rations, which are used to make basic foods. You will also want to collect ingredients on your travels, including fishing in water pools using the fishing pool tool. Use these ingredients to cook in the field with your portable BBQ grill.

Forge forces armor and weapons to the top of the highest available
You will generally get access to new accessories to do after killing large monsters (compared to small monsters roaming around), so when you get back from a hunt, check in the Gemma Forge Trees. Craft weapons and armor of the rare level of the highest level to get the best things, keeping in mind that there are changes in ability and damage (for weapons) or resistance (for armored forces) between devices at the same level. This also applies to your Palco, so keep them equipped with the best equipment you can.
Do not worry about using all your materials, as you will continue to take them as you go hunting. Some materials fall more often than others, even from the same monster, so you may need to kill some to get a full set of armor or created with multiple weapons using the same ingredients. Most importantly, even if it seems that a weapon is a dead end, you will unlock more progress trees while encountering extra big monsters.

The menu screens for the equipment are dense, but they contain a lot of information.
Inspect arms and armor to understand what their skills do
The so -called equipment skills are benefits that apply rewards to a variety of aspects, from better healing to increased protection to resisting certain types of damage. Some are very situational, such as improving the attack after fulfilling the conditions or increasing special ammunition of past weapons. You will get skills from your active weapon, each part of the armor and the equipment equipped, accumulating half a dozen or more active at the same time, and many of the same ability will accumulate.
To see what each skill does, open Main Menu (Start in PS5)> Items and Equipment Devices> Equipment Information And click on the skill button (Square in PS5). You can also watch them on the menu of arms/armor by pressing Submenu button (triangle in PS5)> information about skill. This is another way that arms and armor can fit your playstyle, so consider the skills when deciding which arms and armor of the craft.

Intel sites have a lot of information on how to get better large monsters.
Look for monster’s weaknesses, weaknesses and more intel
Each monster has its own strengths and weaknesses, which can help you prepare resistors of elementary equipment and attacks to get them best. You can see this intel after you have defeated monsters once, though this remains important if you are hunting ingredients to make arms or armor.
To get monster specific detailed information, go to the game Menu (Click Start at Console)> TAB TAB TAB> MONTHER FIELD GUIDE> GREAT GUIDE OF MONTHING FIELD. The dense intel for each monster shows where to find them, which parts are weak or broken and what kind of damage works best in each part. It also recommends elementary attacks, status effects and items to use – but most importantly, for repeated hunting, indicates frequency decline rates for materials and which parts to aim for them.

Go for wounds when you attack at Monsters Monsters
Although not Hunter Monster’s first game with wounds, now any weapon can cause them in a monster. When you repeatedly attack an area, a wound will form, which may be visible from the outside, but clearly appears as red orange sections when it is in focus mode (L2 in PS5). Continue to attack the wounds and you will do bonus damage until you destroy them, after which you can bring down the monster-which is a great opportunity to get easily interrupted combined damage.
Don’t worry about dying once or twice in hunting
Dieting during a hunt is a pain, but you can still return to complete it afterwards (though with a financial reward penalty at the end). You will revive either in the main city of the area or, if you have set a camp, closest to them. This gives you the opportunity to replenish the supplies, cook another meal or change your equipment for something more suitable for your prey. To die once or twice is okay, but you will fail the mission if you die for the third time.
